Pay Alan his wages, and the following happens...
Milkshake + Milkshake + Milkshake + Mac and Cheese = OH GOD AM GONNA BE SICK !!!
So much for my (eventual) switch to Veganism.
Oh yeah, and my clutch cable decided to be tempermental on my way to work this morning. Whenever the pedal went in, it refused to pop back out without a persuading kick. I think I drove the entire way in third gear. Amazing day so far!
Well, I also managed to convince my assistant-manager into dropping a couple of my shifts next week, so that's a plus. As is the fact that I'm meeting up with Lauren, Tatenda, and her friend tonight. That's bound to be good, so why don't I feel all that great about it?
Hmm.
I blame all the ducking milkshakes. |

Meh. I've managed to convince myself that all my friends secretly despise me. It's might be just paranoia having it's way, but I can't help but wonder "Where they talking about me?" ever time I appear and the previously topic of conversation is hastily dropped. Cooome on.
Tell me whatever I did, and I'll work at fixing it. Please. I don't want to go back to being hated again. :( |

“Alan, put the PayPal account down and step away from the computer…”
Dammit. The fact that today is payday is no excuse, I’ve spent a little too much on eBay today. I almost died of a heart-attack a few minutes ago when I accidently bid £70 instead of 70p. Whoever invented the Bid Retraction Form, I LOVE YOU! There’s no way I was able to afford £140 for two old Dreamcast magazines. Pfft. I think it’s about time I call it quits. It’s so easy to spend money over the internet. It doesn’t feel real. No wonder so many people get addicted to online gambling. :/
I really should be revising... hm...
UPDATE (01/05/07):
Alright, that's it. No more. Stop spending money.
Since last week, I've managed to buy online...
'Heavy Metal' (DC Game) - £5 'Moho' (DC Game) - £10 'Gunbird 2' (DC Game) - £1.25 'Giga Wing' (DC Game) - £3 'Grandia 2' (DC Game) - £13 'Toy Commander' (DC Game) - £3 'Space Channel 5' (DC Game) - £3 'Unreal Tournament' (DC Game) - £2 'Riviera: The Promised Land' (GBA Game) - £10 A Green VMU for my Dreamcast (GREEN!! <333) - £4 Dreamcast SCART Cable - £2 A copy of the supportband at AFI's EP - £5
Not including postage costs, that comes to £61.25. Damn, and I'm supposed to be £400 down thanks to my car insurance too. :/ |

| Summer needs to damn-well end already! |
[Sep. 14th, 2006|11:17 pm] |
Pfft. I hate days when I do nothing all day. You always end up feeling like crap at the end of it. All I did today was play video games. Puzzle Pirates, MovieBattles, Harvest Moon on my PSP, psht.
Don't get me wrong, I love video games. Somedays I love just sitting on my arse and playing all day. Today just wasn't one of 'em. I should have totally volunteered to work extra hours or something this week.
Ach well. One more week of boredom before Fresher's Week starts. Can't wait. |

Cowboy Bebop still hasn't been dispatched, but guess what arrived in record time this morning? My copy of RvB Season Four. Thanks for going all out and getting it here in just over a week, RT. I thought it would be August before I got my hands on it, judging from the round-the-world trips Seasons 1, 2 and 3 seemed to have went on.
Ach well, I'm sure it'll more than keep me entertained until Bebop finally gets shipped. :D
Bow Chicka Bow Bow!

Still waitin' on my Cowboy Bebop Collection Part 2 boxset coming. Apparently, I misread their email, and whilst I was eagerly awaiting it's arrival today, it's actually out-of-stock. Bleh. My luck, my copy of RVB Season Four'll be here before it, and that's travelling thousands of miles to get here. Not making it's way from some dreery English town. |

Well, this morning, one of my best online friends left the internet. Despite a long talk about her future last night, she still decided to up and leave. It not only surprised me, but it hurt, as it should. ... ah screw it! I hate talking about my emotions, though moreso IRL than in an online journal in my first entry.
... well, I must say, that was a really sucky introduction, even by my standards. I should really consider scrolling my cursor up and editing some of it, but then again, there's numerous reasons holding me back.
1) I'm lazy. 2) I'm too damn lazy. 3) I'm sexy
Hello, there! My name is Switch, and this is my first entry on my LiveJournal.com blog. I'm 17 years old, I like The Clash, Scotland and samurai. I've also taken to sushi after trying it for the first time this weekend.
So what's with all the pointless rambling? Well, after embracing sub-zero temperatures in the process of escorting my darling girlfriend home, I've a pounding head-ache. Therefore, logically, I can blame it all on whatever I've written here. Now, if I wasn't so ill or lazy, I could put that excuse through it's paces. I could toss a brick through someone's window and blame the headache. I could spam 'BURNIE BURNS HAS POTATO FETISH' in the LJ forums. Hell, I could even go as far as shoving on a dress, stumbling out into the street and telling anyone who'll listen an over-dramatised sob-story about how I come from a violent family who force me to dress up real purdy and 'entertain' bored and lonely gangsters on a tri-weekly basis.
... or perhaps not. I suppose I could settle for a toasted tomato ketchup sandwich instead. This is the Switchmeister, signing out! |
